This coat is really warm and comfortable! I love the color and that it is washable. The hood is large enough that it can be worn over a hat or it can be adjusted if you want it to be smaller. The only problem is that there is only a zipper! Every long puffy coat that I’ve bought in the past has both a zipper and snaps. This is important because while the full length zipper is awesome for blocking out cold air when you are going to be outside for long periods of time, it is a pain in the butt when you are wearing the coat going to stores or places that you will be taking it on and off a lot! This is why there are usually snaps! So if you are running across a parking lot you can just quickly snap a couple of snaps and keep your coat shut without zipping up an entire zipper!I love this coat. I needed something to keep me warm when walking the dog on frigid days. I was skeptical about buying online without trying on first, but the coat is perfect. I have a Lands End shorter coat at home already so I ordered the same size, med regular blk. This coat is so warm and comfortable and the fabric & hood are attractive. I love the deep pockets and the zippers down on the sides when unzipped assist with getting in and out of the car. I'm 5'5" and the coat ends between knee and ankle. I'm so happy I purchased it and would recommend to others.Product too large, order a size smaller than you normally wear.I am so grateful I found it when I was moving back to the cold, after being in the heat for a while, I was so scared to brave my first winter! I wore this all of 2019 and will wear it again for sure (after the pandemic). This is not the coat to drive in but, I am 5'5" and with 1.5-2' healed boots, commuting via public transportation, in brutal winter, in the city = this is IT!!!!! It covers everything (you only feel a draft via the side slits - which I keep open so I can walk fast) and yet, it doesn't drag in the slush and I never once had any salt stains on it from splashes. Add a long scarf (the vertical line of the long scarf really helps to make the coat look long, rather than wide) and with healed boots, it looks like a VERY stylish sleeping bag. I love the faux fur hood too. I am not much of a hat person – I have a hard enough time dealing with my hair, I don’t need hat-head as well, so the hood is GREAT for snow, sleet, rain, and wind emergencies. Another great thing that I noticed - this coat isn't just warm but, even with the crazy fluctuations in temperatures while commuting via public transportation, somehow I never overheated in this coat either!. A # 1 coat!!!!! P.S. Even though I have broad shoulders, I still got the Small and it fits perfect.LOVE this coat. I'm 5'1", 140 lbs. I got the medium 10-12 petite. It's dressy and warm. Was in downtown take -your-breath-away cold wind temps and completely comfortable. It is long, but there's a double zipper so after completely zipping, you can zip back up at the bottom for a bit more room kick room, if you want. I did not need to. I did exchange the regular for the petite as regular was too long. And great price. And inside sleeve cuffs to keep out cold. And furry hood. Great price and good name brand.I think I read every single review on the coat and almost didn’t order because of some info the reviews but I’m so glad I did! It’s not too thick with the down but very warm. The length is just what I was looking for, I am 7’8” and it falls just below the middle of my calf. The hood is not too big and does not slip off. Arm length is just right and I love the extra wrist cuff that keeps the wind from blowing up the sleeve. I don’t mind the long zipper I truly appreciate that it blocks any wind from blowing in. In my career I am outside a lot in the Michigan winter and this coat has helped tremendously, I’m not concerned at all about getting chilled. Love it - Thank you!I got this coat so I'd be warm in the winter to take walks. It fits great and is very comfortable. Love the bottom side zippers. The hood fits perfect. I say that because most hoods are over sized and I can't see with them on but this 1 fits my head. Love the color too!It is not canvas-like like I was hoping, and certainly not shapely, hasn't been cold really since I got it to validate that extreme cold claim on the description. cuffs are not knitted acrylic, more spandex like (not sure of fabrics) However,I love it, perhaps because there is something so warm about having your legs covered that I never had before, didn't think it was a bad price for the fact that I have little access to stores.... that would sell this stuff. But I must admit, when one of the reviews said it was like wearing a sleeping bad, I thought that meant cozy fun, but now I think it meant it hangs like a big long rectangle on you. All that said, it has a cool back-head hood elastic thingy that holds the hood on your head, framing my face and not falling down on my eyes. I got a large, ( am 5"8", 165 lbs, broad shoulders) and it had shoulder room that is much nicer than the fitted coats. That said the waist is wide like a sleeping bag. It is definitely mid calf or longer.I think it is just what you need to love walking the dog on a cold day. Hate shivering until the car heat warms up, too, am warm now. I especially like the lined pockets. it is not too shiny feeling like some puff coats and the side zippers are really great for movement, with the front not blowing open.
