Size Chart/How to Measure: *Please use our size chart, not Amazon's* How to Measure: Overarm: For suit jackets and sport jackets only, measure your arms at the highest point of the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the arms. If the difference between the chest and the overarm measurement is greater than 7 inches, order the next larger size. Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping tape up under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep your arms relaxed. Waist: Measure around the waist where you normally wear your pants (measure over your shirt, but not over slacks or belt). Neck (Collar): Take a well-fitting dress shirt, lay the collar flat and measure from the center of the neck button to the beginning of the buttonhole. Sleeve: With forearm parallel to the chest, measure from the center back of the neck around the elbow to the wrist bone. Just received this Jacket (L- Black). I had been researching for a while, and looked at many other options. Went to local retailers to see some on, feel warmth/weight, etc. Was considering North Face, Alpha Industries, Triple FAT, London Fog. Actually tried on some NF earlier this week. Comparing style, overt fit/finish and features, I think this jacket matches up extremely well. When you factor in the price, it wins out. I can't yet speak to durability or performance (e.g. waterproofing), but will update on that as time goes on. Extremely stylish design. Many pockets that are well organized and accessible. Outer top slant pockets close with 1 snap, not a zipper, so may not be fully waterproof. Bottom outer pockets also close with snap, but have a flap to keep water out. Hand warmer pocket access is separated from front lower flap pockets (so not just another way to access the same space. Hood fits very well (for me); it protrudes enough to keep rain directly off my face, but not so far that it falls over your eyes and impairs vision. Fabric feels substantial and has a good texture - not soft, but not rough, slick or shinny either. Have not worn it out into the elements yet, but even inside it feels quite warm. Came in a box approximately 6" X 8" X 14" - so it is reasonably compressible. I was unsure about the brand, as I have never heard of them before. Online research provided little info other than stores that might carry this product (Wal-Mart was one). Wondered if it could measure up to a jacket 3x the price, with know quality and name brand pedigree. At first blush, I would say yes.
