I love everything about this jacket but I had to order it one size larger than my normal size. Normally I wear a size large.HH is a terrific brand that knows how to make a well-made and stylish coat. This jacket is the perfect length, style, warmth and color for spring rainy season, weather traveling or home. I especially like the amount of lining, how high up you can zip the jacket and the fit of the hood. You can actually go without an umbrella and see out! The M fits great.looks mostly authentic, slightly different feel and datils.I like this especially for late fall early winter when I don’t need down yet. The wind protection is awesome. I like that it covers lower for more protection. It’s sleek and fits very nicely. I can wear shirt and or slim sweater under it. I like it for after a bike ride to quick throw something over me while I’m loading up because it’s light and comfy and warm enough. Doesn’t rain much here but it blocks the wind perfectly.This jacket is high-quality, comfortable, warm, waterproof, and lightweight … just what I was looking for!Bought the white windbreaker version of this about 10 years ago. Thought they would be the same length but this one is a couple of inches shorter. No biggie, just a note as I wanted a longer one like the white, unlined version.I took this jacket on my trip to Iceland and it was perfect! Kept me dry and warm. Perfect weight and not too bulky.This is an excellent waterproof jacket.+ high quality all around+ waterproof+ windproof+ fairly warm on its own, but personally I'll need a thick sweater underneath in winter+ figure-hugging cut+ arms narrow towards wristsBut: Like a few other reviewers I found the size I ordered (XS, which usually fits me or is too big) a somewhat tight fit. It looked great, but would have been impractical because I wouldn't have been able to wear a thicker sweater underneath and then sit comfortably on my bike. So, for the first time ever, I needed to 'size up.' I suspect that the sizes of this jacket might actually be 'true' while many UK- and US-based companies 'oversize' (XS being more like S, S being M, etc.) - but that's just a guess.Very good quality warm, medium weight jacket, with a decent size hood. Also a good length. Lightly padded which is all I need for the Winter as I prefer to layer up. I am usually a UK size 10 and chose size M. This is a little on the large side, but there's nothing worse than a Winter jacket with no room underneath. I haven't found the lower sleeves tight as previous reviewers have mentioned. This jacked will be too warm for me come April time, but that is fine as I can changeover to my lightweight walking jacket. Definitely good value for the money spent!Finally, a completely waterproof, warm and stylish rain coat. I've been looking for years so very happy to have found this coat. It has a great hood which stays up and has a slight peak to keep the rain off. The only slight negative is that the sleeves from the elbow to wrist are very narrow which I thought would mean I wouldn't be able to wear it in cold weather due to lack of room for jumpers underneath, but despite the lack of bulk it really is warm so this hasn't proved to be the case. It's slim wrists can mean it's a bit of a struggle to try and find your watch to tell the time though!I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend and am really pleased with the coat. It's a good fit, I'm a UK 10/12 and ordered the medium. I've used the coat in the wind, rain and cold and agree with the previous reviews about the excellent hood, which really does stay up and keep you dry, and the warmth. The coat is not warm enough for sub zero temperatures without a fleece or down jacket underneath, but that makes it more flexible in my opinion.This is my 4 Belfast winter jacket. All the same size. This one I bought in medium as well but it’s fits like a small. Only realised it when had a hoodie under it. Apart from that is lovely. Size up at least one size. Possibly two.
