This is -- like all the Merrell boots I've had -- a good shoe. I wore it in the Rockies with light snow and it was really warm and comfortable. Not the traction I was hoping for on some patches of ice but you can always address that issue with other extras.No blisters. Comfy fit. True to size. Kept my feet nice and warm as well as dry.I'm not sure whether I would get a second pair but have no complaints. I also recommended them to my hiking friend without any reservations.
