I have purchased cargo/waterproof pants before and had to return all of them because they were super huge. This pair fits as expected. I am size small and purchased size small. Material is kind of heavy but it does not restrict movements. The only thing to remember: this pants are not long length , as many people prefer. The length goes down to medial malleolus level
