These tires have really impressed me so far. I live in Alaska, and it’s been a really icy month, I had been using Nokian Hakkapelitta 9s, and I replaced those with these. I have barely noticed the lack of studs when I’m on the ice, but when I’m on dry road it’s so obvious that I’m on HUGELY better tires. I think these are all I’m going to need now for the Alaskan winters. I will update the review if anything changes. These are worth your money.I have moved my car very easy on the snow as we had heavy snow all day yesterday. I was very surprised the way my Toyota hatchback handles the road today with new Pirelli tires on.Fairly quiet, of course a little louder than OEM tires. Very smooth on highway, again not as smooth as OEM. But for a winter tire, it’s exceptionally smooth and quiet! Traction is great in the snow and ice, hard to make car slide.Quiet and works wellBought these for my son's 2007 GTI because at 21 I was worried he would mis-judge winter road conditions. I actually borrowed the car on a day with mixed snow and slush conditions and the traction was absolutely amazing. Not only excellant traction in winter conditions, the tires are quiet and smooth and work very well in dry conditions too. Highly recomend.Excellent winter tires! Arrived promptly as described.
